    Start up question

Don't know how to 'search' for an answer to this problem. WIN7 used to go straight to desktop without stopping. Now it stops, shows a small icon with my name, and will not continue until I click on the icon. I want to eliminate this step, but can't find out how to do it. I suppose I did something to cause this (or maybe it was the grandkids). Thanks

    Hi reevesjo,

That is the default behaviour. See if the following Tutorial will help you.

I'm not sure about Windows 7, but that used to happen once the .Net Frameworks were installed.

If you have multiple people, especially kids, using the computer, you should be using separate user accounts for overall system protection. You can password protect your account, so you can always get in to fix issues.

My almost 4 year-old nephew can recognize a picture I set for him and click into his user account to play his games...so kids can definitely handle it.
