    Yes you will.
The RC will expire on June 1, 2010. Starting on March 1, 2010, your PC will begin shutting down every two hours. Windows will notify you two weeks before the bi-hourly shutdowns start.

Well, not without the nag of a shutdown every two hours. Eh, either way, I'll have my 7 RTM by then anyways :)

Well, RTM will have been out for 6 months by then, and you'll have 3 months to get your data out between shutdowns so it should be ok! :)

So PLEASE correct me if I am wrong but...

    Win7 Beta ends Aug 1st.
The Release date has been set for Oct 22nd. (already pre-ordered)

Whats the plan between the beta ending and the release of Win7 proper?

I really really really dont want to have to run an interm OS until I get the Win 7 Proper disk.
the interim solution is to upgrade or clean install 7100 or higher with a key free from MS. that wont expire til mqrcg 2010

Wouldn't it be a PITA if you left it until the last minute and one individual file that took 2hrs and 20mins to transfer

Thats why I dual booted. I can access everything in my 7 installation from my Vista installation :)
