I know man it seems almost too good to be true. MS has really stepped up their game in my opinion

One note tho, If you get it for download, you may hafta specify whether or not your want 64 or 32. But if you get it shipped to you in box it comes with both

But as far as Win 7 goes you cannot upgrade from XP anyway, so you might as well get your hands on a Vista disk as you do not need a Vista key only the disk to perform the clean install from the upgrade disk.
How many times can I use the same Vista disk to do upgrades?

It wouldn't matter how many times you used it. As long as you are installing 7 on the same machine, your upgrade key will work after using the vista disk. Also, if you already have 7 installed and wanna do a reinstall later, you could just reinstall from within windows 7 without having to use a vista disk. Using the vista disk is only necessary when installing the windows 7 on a blank harddrive with an upgrade disk, and you dont want the hassle of having to install win7 twice to get your upgrade key to work

From what I see here, now I'm sure...I'll buy the retail version of Windows 7. Less work and no head-ache.

The retail version isn't necessarily less work, it just seems that way, becuase there are three different install methods for the upgrade disk, and reading all three at the same time can seem confusing. I'm just gonna pop mine in while I'm running vista, start setup, tell it to clean install, and then I'll be done. Just as simple as the full version, but cheaper.
