Basic Win 7 + Hardware Question

If I swap out my MB + CPU on my current Windows 7 - I shouldn't have any problems aside form deleting and installing new Chipset drivers, right?

I believe I have a bad MB + CPU combo and want to swap it out.

    Thanks in advance

If you mean activation problems, if you have a retail copy, you may need to activate online again. Failing that, you'll need to do a phone activation.

    Activate Windows 7 by Phone

But yes, you should just need to update drivers.

Ouch! System builder copy is tied to the first mobo its installed on. As per EULA, its not transferrable so you would be in violation should you try to use it on the new mobo.
