Hello Rok, and welcome to Seven Forums.

It looks like your shortcut arrow overlay icon is messed up and using a default icon instead of the arrow. If so, then doing METHOD TWO in the tutorial below to restore the default shortcut arrow overlay icon may be able to fix this for you.

Shortcut Arrow - Change, Remove, or Restore

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Well, that's good news so far. One down.

See if downloading and merging the folder and Directory options in the tutorial below may be able to fix the folder icons after restarting the computer. They restore the default associations for them.

Did you install or do anything before this happened? It may be related, and could determine what may need to be done to finish fixing it.

For now, you might see if running a sfc /scannow command may help. You may need to run it a few times if it finds problems and cannot fix them all.

    Rok,

You might try doing another system restore using a older restore point (if available) dated before the icons got messed up to see if that may help.

If not, and you have a retail copy of Windows 7 installed, then you could do a repair install to fix it.

Try to change the icons size to bigger and then restore the size. To do this right click on desktop-->appearance-->choose whatever you want and then apply... relog and then maybe icons will be fixed. This worked with me, maybe it help you too
