    You can open cmd prompt as adminitrator in the drive you want them to be cleaned (just change the letter of the drive, type:
    C:\>del /s thumbs.db

    It will scan the all drive and delete those .db

    Or use the native Windows 7 settings:

I'm not sure exactly where to post this, so I figure it is a performance issue so I would try it here. For some reason my desktop and in my folders I am starting to show thumbs.db files where I never did before. I am able to get rid of them over time, but it is really a pain in the neck to do it....

I just set FileASSASSIN as the default program to the thumbs.db and kick'em to the curb. Until a better solution or fix comes from MS. The work arounds are too complicated and take to long when you are working on something. Buck :geek:
