Windows 7: LightScribe

Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1

It takes about 22 minutes, which is a lot of time...far longer than the time to burn the data, but I prefer the look of the discs as opposed to a sharpie. I do use sharpies, probably 9 out of 10 times I burn a disc, but for my real, official discs, like software I download from TechNet, I use a Lightscribe disc.

No argument here. If it has more permanence than something like the second beta of Win 7 I'll use them. They're nice when you send a disc as a gift, too, such as a home movie compilation. :)

Exactly, I have my wedding videos, shower videos, and all our photos from the related events in a safe, all with nice, Lightscribed labels.

It worked okay the last time that I used it, but when I just attempted to label a DVD, the drive selection box was blank, and selecting the refresh button didn't change anything, although all 3 of my OD drives are LightScribe. Outside of reinstalling LightScribe, is there anything else that I need...
