Boot (from windows icon to login screen) takes 12 minutes.

Once logged in the system runs great. But as mentioned in the title it takes roughly 12 minutes from the windows icon showing for it to load to the user login screen.

I've been trying a lot of suggestions else where but so far not getting any results. Currently trying to read the even viewer but a little stuck as I don't know enough to understand how to treat the errors listed.

    Edit:
-Attempted booting to safe mode. No change in boot time.
-Cmd sfc /scannow run twice. 1st.) repaired errors 2nd.) No errors
    -chkdsk /f
-Device Manager ! mark on Teredo Tunneling Pseudo Interface
    -disabled superfetch
    -disk clean and defrag
-restore point use not possible (dates extremely recent)
    -start up repair

    Solution used: Repair install

Open device manager a look for a yellow alert mark. Some driver can be missing.
Run a system file check: On a CMD window type sfc /scannow
schedule a disk check: On a CMD window type chkdsk c: /f

On it, I'll report back results.

Try killing superfetch in services "services.msc from the RUN command" and restart the system. If there's no change you can always re-enable it.

Not a lot was actually tried. Checked what I could so far but no dice.
Taking note from one poster to keep an eye on the task manager.

Consider trying a Clean Startup This way you may be able to nail down what exactly is causing this.
