Is the shortcut pointing to something that doesn't exist anymore? Have you tried going through Explorer to the Desktop to see if the shortcut is still there? How about after a restart...do you still have the same problem?

Hello JoJokhan, and welcome to Seven Forums.

If restarting the computer doesn't get rid of it, then you might see if using the free program Unlocker on it may be able to allow you to delete it afterwards.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Have you emptied the recycle bin? Go into safe mode, right click to run as Administrator and delete it.

    Reboot into safe mode

    Restart the computer
Immediately begin gently tapping the <F8> key.
Use the arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode and press the <Enter> key
