Just canceled my Microsoft store order for HP and ordered from Amazon instead for $49.95, thereby saving the tax MS was charging and getting a DVD shipped to me free instead of the download version from MS store.

I figure a leaked RTM will be out shortly and I'll be running that for several months before the official RTM DVD arrives at my door anyway, so it doesn't really matter if I get it on the official release date or a week or so later.

Or if it makes you feel better, you can use Win 7 RC as your previous build to "upgrade" from, simply by following the instructions given by MS on their Engineering Blog on how to upgrade from an RC to the RTM.
Has this been confirmed? This would be great. The only OS my desktop has ever had on it is 7100... I was thinking I would have to buy the full priced disk.
There have been rumors you can upgrade the RC to the final, but only time will tell whether MS will let us do that or not when they release.
I hope this gets confirmed before the big pre-release sale ends!
