Shut Down Options Vanished

Hey guys,

After several days I installed W7 SP1, I noticed that shut down options weren't there. It is not like it happens all the time. That was the first time ever (I attached a screen shot). Did you any of you come across something like this? Thanks a bunch

Might I perchance suggest this guide to you, and propose that you enable rather than disable like the article says?

You do not mention what version of Win 7 you have. If it is lower than Pro, you will not have the option to use gpedit as suggested in the previous post's link.

Have you, do you remember if you shut off any of windows features? This would be the reason why those items disappeared from your start menu.

I have Home Premium. And, I did not do anything to the operating system. I do not mess around the OS

It actually happened only once. I just wanted to know if it happened to other people as well.
