Hey guys on Windows 7 Ultimate is it possible to add items to the desktop, but in a specific place, so even though I right click and do>sort>by name that item will not move?

Hi CriticalError and welcome to the Forum. You might want to try a free download called Fences. Allows you to group icons into your own logical groups and manage them independantly.
