File type at the end of the name

    File type at the end of the name


    Is there anyway to remove the file type at the end of the name?

    It looks like this

    Hi raboragaroo welcome to SevenForums :)

    to hide file extensions:

    File Extensions - Hide or Show

    Open any folder,
    press the Alt key, then click Tools>Options
    click the view tab
    check the box that says "hide extensions for known file types"
    Done.
