Window behavior not to my liking (so to speak).

Ever since Windows 95, up through Vista, by default, I could open, size, and position the Recycle Bin window, the Local Disk C window, and my other Disk drive window, and then they would appear the size and in the place I had once put them when reopened.

So I could have C open at the left, E open in the middle, and Recycle open at the right, for example. And the next time I opened any one of them, they would open the same size and in the same place as before.

Not anymore. Whatever size and position the last window to be closed was in, that's the size and position a new window is upon opening.

    Can this behavior be changed?

So far it seems like they got rid of it, which is a total bummer for everyone. =(

Hopefully they right it some time soon.

Heck if that is the only thing, then welcome to Windows Seven.

    please do.

there are like 1,000 things i don't like about 7, but there's 10,000,000 things i do. so i dont let the 1,000 bother me, as they are just a small fraction of the awesomeness.

If everything was perfect, there would be no reason to advance further.

Sonyak, agreed! That is annoying as hell! At least, at first. After 6 months of using Win7, I don't notice it anymore actually.

I still notice it, it's rather annoying when you frequent the same folders day in and day out.
