Windows out of memory too soon

Windows suddenly is goig to 90%+ even with little programs running.
I have 4 G of RAM, so I'm used to run Firefox, Chrome, Photoshop, Illustrator and many others at once.
I guess there's a memory leak somewhere, what can I do?

    Edit: I forgot the screenshot.

Firefox is absolutely gobbling up resources (note the additional plug in connectors, not JUST firefox itself). I would suggest running just that or Chrome, rather than both. I think a memory leak is a bit of an extreme leap to make, but it is possible. I would recommend using the memory tools in Ultimate Boot Disk to pursue that, but I think that most likely is that you need to either refine how you're using the machine, or boost the memory another 4gb.

Yes, Firefox is usually around 200-300+, but that's normal (I always have 10+ tabs open).
The issue is that recently, a week or so ago, windows is trying to shutdown processes because memory is at 90%.
Even when having Firefox, Illustrator and a 100+ Photshop file opened, it would seldom reach 90% used.
I'll try the boot CD and come back with results.

There's also a couple other services utilized by Firefox named other things (one of which was another 80k of memory).

Not to sound rude, but why not simply close a few things?

Also, how long has it been since you did a full virus and spyware scan?

I know, but I repeat, that's normal! It has always been that way. But now Windows is going out of memory too fast.

Not rude at all, but that's not a solution. I want my pc back to normal.

It has been a while. Since I'm not your average regular user(I'm an advanced Win/Linux user) I hardly get any virus, but I'll check that also.
