How lame can you be to edit screenshots to make it look like build 7300 has been released, people who do those things really don't have a life.

7268 is the latest candidate for rtm since 1st july but it isn't out in the wild. if it turns out microsoft is happy with that build they'll wrap it up and rebuild as 7300 (build number for ACTUAL rtm).

First off, the screen is from Microsoft Connect. That's not Technet.

Second, they've been setting time for all RTM candidate builds at 19:00, also known as 7pm (as in Windows 7? Get it?). They don't reflect actual time. If anything, getting the time done like that fits the true pattern and might even tilt it more likely towards real.

Might not be real, but can't blow it off b/c it's not on Technet or due to the compilation time.

    News from the Front:

    Hey Guys,

    It's Paul from GeekSmack.

I'm waiting on word from my sources regarding what build will be chosen from the RTM candidates, and once said build is signed off I will update the article ASAP. Also, to clarify the RTM build will technically be "official" and announced on the 13th, but the "golden build" may be chosen shortly before.
