    yes that is why they need to get rid of the registry also..forgot to add that point.

    Yeah I missed the "read programs from directory" part the first time I read. Yeah taking out the reg and making you install things to a seperate partition would be a good idea, and make reinstalling a breeze

    could be the future, lots of talk that OS's wont exist eventually, web browsers can pretty much do everything now

    I like it to be voice activated and be able to respond back in a nice sexy voice, maybe even an nice animated face on the screen.

    maybe having some watch monitor blood presure so it knows in what kind of mood you are in. I like it to be a bit playfull and naughty sometimes.

    maybe a second watch for girlfriend/wife so it doesn't say anything to sexual when she is near??

    Some very nice thoughts here!

    In regards to registry in particular, I agree that MS should move towards what OS X does where its usually a drag/drop install.
