    How to change date separator

How could I set Regional settings formats to UK and change date separator from slash to point? (23.03.2011) Windows XP had Customize Regional options to change Date separator but it's missing on W7. Thanks!

Go to the Control panel and select Region and Language
Under format select English UK from the pull down menu
    Then select additional settings
    Then the Date tab
The next to Short date select the pull down menu and you will find the format you want dd.M.yy
    I hope this helps.

Sorry, proposed solution is not the same - I asked how to maintain XP date format we need for global database compatibility. That means in XP date format was set to 23.03.2011 but in W7 there is a single separator option 23/03/2011. Is it possible to change date separator as in Xp there was as special option for selecting separator, which is gone in W7 enterprise version.

Region and Language > Formats > Additional settings... > Date > Date formats
Enter in your special format for the broken database.

Thanks, a shame on me, I just didn't dare to mess formats manually!
