I'm curious as to why two people voted 'no'.

They have maybe never used it, or they're just trying to be funny?

Considering how Windows Seven development was put on hold whilst Vista was rushed out it's hardly surprising Seven is the better OS, it's been over 6 yrs in the making and has had time to mature. See this thread I started Vista was based on Windows 7

Yeah, I don't see any other reason, to be honest.

better tahan vista but worse than xp, quick launch shortcuts are dissapearing after you click them, why they are hiding it?!! i need to use them again to open a new window!!!!!

win7 is comlicated, i cannot find what i need, they are hiding deep, deeep...

Red Alert 2 does not respond while closing.

Firefox is freezing, especcially when there is adobe flash.

Defragmenter does show which files were unable to defragment.

They changed somethings (defragmenter is too simple, quick lauch sucks, evrything about options are messed) because there is nothing new for end users.

Are you using the right OS? As for the games not working, that is because they were not made for Windows 7. Firefox is at 3.5 and I have had no problem with it. You know you can open new windows by right clicking on the icon that is on your jumplist, right?

Yeah, you failed to mention that its not a final release. They will have most if not all of that worked out in the final build. And I'm not convinced that some of its not user error, I haven't had any of the troubles you seem to be having.

The first thing people do when they have a problem with the product is to blame the manufacture. It is pretty bad for someone to criticize an OS that in BETA was better than most OSes on the market. People like this are the ones that generally complain about a Windows OS because they see how people use a linux OS (those are normallly geeks who know what their doing) and Mac OSX (don't get me started on how bad that is....)

EDIT: I thought about voting no just for the sheer fact that we waited this long for something truly great....something that really shows how bad Vista and XP is (no matter how many people say otherwise)....but as they say the best things in life are worth waiting for....just please Microsoft keep up the work and do something incredible again with Windows 8
