Yeah it sounds like you have been hacked.
Never ever install Windows and not assign a password to both the built in Admin account and your NAMED Admin account. But in 7 the built in Admin account is deactivated.
But you still need to assign a password to your NAMED account. Especially if you are going out to some Public network.

Lets not be so hasty shooter. Hotel networks are normally setup to block all access to other devices on the network. Unless the op has installed some compromised software I wouldn't blame it on the Hotel.
