I would check with ASUS further as the sockets are probably paired...and it may be the yellow ones you need

If you go to that address, select the middle "download" tab and look at the bottom of the list, the manual is there for you to download (just select the appropriate language on the next page and selct for "global" download". On page 2.11 it gives the info on the various memory configs you can use. They recommend the yellow slots for better overclocking capability.

Aight, seems like I'm going to buy new RAM. And then, I'm going to put them in yellow socket as well.

I wouldn't buy any new sticks if the ones you have are passing memtest. Try putting the sticks in the yellow sockets and testing again. By the way...both the memory sticks you have are exactly the same model number aren't they?

I haven't got time for a memtest86 run yet, but the one I'm using right now is somewhat bugged. The other can't even apply Windows. The currently working one is in the yellow slot. Model number is the same as well :)

I also notice that sometimes my motherboard screen on BIOS is showing faster, and when that happends.. Right after Windows says "Welcome" there appears to be some white quick screen really fast. Just white as solid color. This is with my 2BG RAM, Windows Diagnostic Memory also tells me that, my currently working 2BG is broken.

Or atleast It says "Hardware problems were detected" something like that.

In that case it may be better to buy 2 new sticks of memory but make sure they are both the same model number and can be used in your motherboard( The manual will give a list of memory sticks that they have tested the board with, so it would be best to use one of those)

Yeah exactly. Thanks a lot for your kindness. I'll report back how it goes when I got my new sticks! :)

I've noticed some lag spikes, or more correctly, some fps lag. Is this because I'm running 2GB on Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit?

It also takes a bit of a time to close tasks.

Wait, you said that Windows is reporting hardware problems as related to your memory. That's going to cause a lot of problems. Fix that first and then we can address whatever problems remain, if any.

Your system specs say 4GB of memory in your system. Which is true?
