Windows 7: Cant right-click any icon! Getting error messege!

XP / Win7 x64 Pro

So you know for sure what caused your sudden inability to right click on things and it had nothing to do with one of the 16 pieces of malware that were found and deleted? Personally I don't care what you call them - bugs, viruses, malware - it doesn't matter; you introduced something to your system that removed basic functionality with malicious intent. Malware Bytes is a reactive measure that only finds things when you tell it do go do so. An Antivirus operates on a proactive nature to prevent you from having 16 infections that go unnoticed until you solicit help from a forum.

I am advising you as a contributing member of the forum that knows a thing or two about best practices in this area. If you choose not to take the information, that's perfectly fine, but you need to be aware of the consequences. I would be remiss if I didn't tell you that your decisions stated above are going to land you in the same place you found yourself when you first came here. We'll be here to help again, but it would help both you and us if you implemented something that was actually preventative on your system than purely reactive based on explicit user initiation.

Obviously, the OP does not want to run antivirus software because it will interfere with the cracks, patches, and other licensing circumvention tools that he uses.
