I don't think so. That was just one website - the major 2.5 million release is supposed to be from windows and that hasn't happened yet.
No I was talking about the Windows site. And yeah I was also kidding.

You can download the ISO's from the following links and install without a key until the systems are back up

    Windows 7 x86 (32bit)
    Windows 7 x64 (64 bit)
Thanks but what do you mean until the systems are back up?

Won't we need a key to keep it going? Will this install without a key?

    Thanks

    Oh!

I guess I need more coffee. (grin).

Will this install, or any Windows 7 install, be able to install without BURNING a DVD?
    Thanks

You can install it for 30 days without a key.

When Microsoft fix their servers you will be able to register for a key.

If the public beta is released at 15.00 pst , which was a time i read somewhere then that would be 23.00 here , might explain why nothing showed up on the windows 7 page

Yep I would agree with you since they say it right on the main page.

"Over the past few years, you've asked us to make some changes to Windows. We listened closely. Now it's time to share an early look at how we've used your feedback. Windows 7 is faster, more reliable, and makes it easier to do what you want. Both the everyday things and the killer "is that really possible?" things. Dig into this site to see what's coming. Want to try the Beta? Come back the afternoon of January 9. And remember—this is just a preview. There's more to come."

    Microsoft's Windows 7 Page.

Thanks - quick question. Is this the same as what will be released today from MS? ie. same build and are the keys limited to 2.5 million?

    Thank you.

I still think it is funny that everyone is trying to download the same release from microsoft that was leaked over a week ago. I just want to sign up to get key and be a part of the public testing as well.
