    Windows Explorer: Display Drive Letters Before Drive Names


    Pretty useful modification if you have long drive names, or are just particular about your layout.

Note that this ONLY occurs in Explorer. Diskpart and Disk Management list the original drive letter for the USB, and nothing else, so I cannot get rid of the extra drive letters via those utilities. How do I get rid of the extra drive letters that Explorer is showing? This is really annoying me!
Some work has been done on my computer. The problem I am having now is that when Explorer is opened up, only the two hard drives ("C" and "D") show. The drives for "A" and my two DVD drives do not show up. They are drive letters "A" (or the floppy drive) and "D" and "E" for the two DVD...
