Help with Bypassing lost password
My daughter has left home (actually ran away) and left behind her laptop. I am desperately trying to find out if there is any information to help my wife and I find her and she has password protected her netbook. It is running windows 7 starter and she created a password reset drive, but took it with her. I have tried password recovery software but cannot get it to run properly. Please help. Thanks

Have you considered contacting your local police? They would probably be in a better position to help all parties concerned (including your daughter) than a bunch of anonymous strangers on the internet.

Hello Bookemindc, and welcome to Seven Forums.
I'm sorry to hear that. I agree. It would be best for you, and your daughter's safety, to contact your local police department to report her missing and for them to access the computer. The longer you wait, the more of a chance that something could happen to her. Hopefully she may just be at a friend's house. |

Furthermore, any such information could be used by others to hack into systems where they have no business being. Supplying such information would also be against forum rules. Your best bet is to follow the advice given above and contact your local police department, they have access to experts who can find information on locked machines. Regards....Mike Connor |
