XP vs. Win7 display question

Hi all.

In XP when I had several windows open from the same type (E.G IE, folders) than when i've point with the mouse marker on the strip to the right of the "start" button, I could saw all of the names of the folders in a list above.
How can I do it on Win7?

I think you mean cascading menus?

Get this;

Welcome to Classic Shell

It gives you cascading menus if you want them;

Sure, this is with the taskbar on the left side of the screen.

Hi,

I think what you're after is the following...
  • Right-click the taskbar and select Properties
  • Then change the Taskbar Buttons to either of the bottom 2 options

As you can see from the image, by selecting Never Combine you get the labels of any open program, just like it was in XP.

Orbital Shark,
I think you were the closest to what I've asked.

Question about display backgrounds.
I'm willing to bet the answer to my question is no, but I'm curious enough to ask anyway. I work for a school district. We have a series of brand new computers that are a month old. They came with Vista, but we pushed them to XP for obvious reasons. With the release of 7 upon is, and it's...
