Move search bar to desktop?

Does anyone know if it's posible to create a desktop shortcut for the start menu's / search box?

I believe a shortcut containing

%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe search-ms:

Will result in what you are after.

How Do I Move My "Documents" Folder To The Desktop Like It Was In XP? The Library concept is interesting but cumbersome for what I do. The only thing I have been able to do is create a shortcut to my librarie's "Document" folder. I want the "Documents" Folder on my Desktop.

Is it Possible to Move the Start Menu Search Bar?
I would like to have search bar permanently moved to my task bar, is it possible? I have a program which allows me to use the search bar to search many sources quickly and easily. It would save me having to jump into a browser in order to conduct the search. No I don't want the google search bar.
