Users Problem

Hello i have a dell studio 1535 with windows7 ultimate x32.
For 5or6 months everything was ok but yesterday when i booted my laptop the welcome screen didn't show anything. No users. I rebooted it but still the same. Also when i log in in safe mode all the users show up what to do ??? pls help !

Just to be clear are you waking it from hibernation/sleep mode?
or are you starting a 'cold start' where the computer is definitely powered down completely?

Try a System Restore, see if that fixes the problem.

ok i did what you said and now i have win 7 again. But i have another problem when my laptop had this problem i was using ubuntu, i didn't like them but i need to have an OS for my job. In ubuntu my full volume of spekers was higher that Win 7. What to do ???

See if there are any problems shown in Device Manager (Start, type device manager, press Enter).

Do a Windows Update (Start, type windows update, click on windows Update). See if there are any device driver updates for your computer. If not go to the computer manufacturers web site, Support, Driver download section and download the Audio driver for your computer. See if that helps.

flash problem for standard users
