Yes there is,they are not interchangeable.
If you fill out your system specs, especially the motherboard part I can tell you which ram is needed :)

SDRAM, DDR2 and DDR RAM memory upgrades from Crucial.com

If you are looking for memory. Try this site.
It is safe to use. ( they ask to install the scanner)
Just get the spects of what you need. You DO NOT have
    to buy from them.

You need to use DDR memory, DDR2 and DDR3 wont fit im afraid and as far as I can find from scraps of posts it has to be no higher than 333MHz.

What is the model of your pc,as in written on the outside?

The chipset on that motherboard supports DDR 266 (also known as PC2100),

VIA P4M266 - VIA Technologies, Inc.

which to take it to 2 GB (saw your other thread) will cost you somewhere in the vicinity of £60,

    266MHz 184Pin 1GB PC2100 DDR RAM DIMM 2.5V 2.1Gb

It isn't, just saw your other thread again,

    Graphic problems with windows 7

You didn't say what you paid for the computer, but if you add up what it will cost for a ram upgrade as well as that video card to what you paid for it, you could probably have had something like this,

    Novatech Barebone Bundle - AMD X2 255- 2GB DDR2 Memory - AMD 740G Motherboard - 4 Bay ATX Tower Case & PSU

that would run circles around what you have now.

I paid £70 for computer, monitor, keyboard etc. That is a superior system. For the DDR would these work?

From about half way down the page,

**Please Note: This is DDR ECC Registered memory and will not work in standard computers, returns will not be accepted for non compatibility**
Seeing as no returns, not worth taking the chance.
