See through desktop and other icons (help)

    I have this problem

I was trying to paste some a game save into to saves folder for the game but i couldnt see it so i thought i would look in the options so i ticked a box that said hide all and now i cant remember but i think i read the text wrong and so it started hiding some of my folder, it took a couple of minutes and when it finished i couldnt see folders like "Users" or "Program Data".

Then i got worried because i thought i deleted it or something but i worked out what i did and went on this forum. I found out how to unhide all the folders in "Folder Options" so I did.

Since then the folders that have been hidden are transparent and also the icons on the desktop because they are shortcuts to the aplications located in theese folder.

It doesnt bother me that much but the other user on my computer has half the desktop icons see through and the other not.

I would really like to know how to fix this. Thanks.

    Hello Maloney,

No worries, you just set them to be hidden. That's why they are faded now. You can undo this by unchecking the same "hide" box that you checked and click OK.

File and Folder - Hide or Unhide

    Hope this helps,
