AppData>Local>Temp (???) Lost file *&%@!*!!

Hi there System 7 Demigods,

So I'm in my email where a buddy sent me a word doc as an attachment that I modified, hit save, and saved to Lord Knows Where....

The address when I retrace my steps (ever so cautiously) is:

<<Users>Name>AppData>Local>Temp

Now I can see the Word file but can't find out how to open it so I can send it back to my buddy. Wahhhh!

It looks like the file is hidden because as I open up explorer and go down the list I can get to Users, then Name, then there is NO AppData file or folder to open. Bloody Microsoft Weenies!!!

How do you open AppData, and then >Local, then >Temp.

Oh yeah, the word doc is saved as a "Rich Text Format" if that helps.

If you are going to open an attachment, make changes, and then either keep it or send it on, you do not simply open it from your email. You first SAVE the attachment to a location on your hard drive of your choosing, presumably the documents folder. The error made is yours, not Microsoft's.

Those idiots who design these programs keep changing this stuff around from one iteration to another and we lowest common denominators who finally figure it 1/2 out are left blowing in the wind. Remember Vista?
