I had no idea they had changed things when I posted the link.

Last time I post a link to them.

When I click the Download button it takes me to Fileforum.

    Never heard of them before.

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Free Download and Reviews - Fileforum

Right back to Fileforum when I click the Download button.

I cleared my browser cache and it still goes to Fileforum not Techspot.

I have it installed already. I was just trying to figure out what was up as you are.

Takes you to an external site...in this case MajorGeeks...with misleading ads.

It only takes you to TechSpot, which is another sponsor/host for MBam download.
Not the point. Those external sites post ads with big download buttons for competing products. It is very hard for a novice user to know what to click on to actually get Malwarebytes.

Major Geeks is a pain to find a download button- the right one anyway.

    That is a shame.

Absolutely....they are probably the worst. File Forum seems to have cleaned up a bit.

I've downloaded from them with no problem. Any of these should be "safe" since Malwarebyte's has contracted them as a mirror download site...it's the difficulty for a novice user that I have issue with.

    Thanks.

Well I guess I'll add Fileforum as a preferred since at least you can find the download button.

    Or Techspot.
