    Calendar

    Hi all
I have just bought a laptop with Windows 7
Everything is fine but can you help with one thing.
On my main computer which is Vista I have the calendar set up to appear as soon as I switch on so all my appointments are there.
On the laptop with Windows 7 the calendar seems to be within windows mail live. Is it possible to set it up as on my desk computer?
Also can I transfer all the data(dates I have fixed) from the Vista to Windows 7 calendar

Right click your desktop, click on Gadgets, double click the calendar. The calendar gadget should now be on your desktop.

    Calendar

Thank you I think I have a problem as the Vista computer is 32 bit and the new Windows 7 laptop is 64bit. If this does not allow me to import from Vista to 7 can the calendar within Windows 7 mail be made to open on start up?
    Again thanks for your help.

Another easy solution is to use Windows Live Mail 2011 on both systems. If you sign up for a free .live account (you don't need to use their e-mail), you can have your Calendar and Contacts sync across both computers. If your e-mail is IMAP, that can sync across as well, just like an Exchange Server.

I do this now with my personal e-mail and three computers.

There are plenty of free Calendar apps out there that would do the job if you don't need syncing
