Maybe the OP is guessing now what his is doing. with so much advices on GUESS it's impossible to help.
Actually the OP said > "I copied all the contents of original Windows 7 CD to my recently brought clean DVD-R disc with NERO." < Sounds to me like he is trying to copy the original DVD but just doesn't know how to do it correctly. You and I know what a boot disk is, but maybe the OP doesn't know the difference.
And again, all the advice given has been based on assumptions. No one other than me has asked for clarification, and my question went unanswered. The OP along with the rest of the thread is still at square 0.
If he just wants to copy his original Windows 7 DVD, there is no copying of files... no magic to the process. You simply make an image and burn the image back (or just "copy" if your tool of choice has the option). His reference to burning an ISO to the disc is obviously wrong....he's going to end up with just an ISO file on the disc if he does that.
If he's trying to do something else, we need to know what it is to even begin to address it.
Well maybe you should just tell the OP you want your answers, and you want them now, or else.
I understood the OP's query. He just wants a backup copy of his Windows 7 Media. He is a student. Perhaps new to CD/DVD writing , he had used packet-writing to copy the DVD files to a DVD-R. (This is not a guess but a logical inference from what he had written.)
He has accepted my reply. His second post went on with a further query on making a bootable pendrive for which i have given him directions, before retiring yesterday.
It was Sunday midday in India while it was Saturday midnight here then.(P.T.). Aren't we global?
He would have just now got up to a Monday morning and ready to go to school/college, I guess:) ( may be holiday too). He would perhaps come later if he has further queries and we are here to help him and not admonish him.
He had already repped me. So I guess :) he has got the answers.
I was just trying to create another disc in case one is lost..
