    Weird Disk icon on desktop logos


    Ever since i downloaded the wrong AlienGUISe theme ( i accidentally got the XP version) it now has these weird disc icons like shown in the attachment. I deleted the AlienGUIse now, how do i fix it?

    Have you tried System Restore? I would try a Restore Point that was created prior to the download.

    well, this happened a year ago, i believe i did do a restore, and im not gonna restore to a year ago.

    Hello Rid, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    This is a issue with your shortcut overlay icon. You could use the free program in OPTION TWO of the tutorial below to change the shortcut overlay icon back to the default arrow.

    Shortcut Arrow - Change, Remove, or Restore
