    class not registered

    Hi guys,

    When ever I download something in google chrome and I click show containing folder, an error comes up saying "class not registered".
    The same thing happens in uTorrent when I click show containing folder on one of my torrents. After that the program becomes unresponsive I was hoping you guys could give me a solution to fix this problem.

    Thanks in advance, QW

    I also found out that when I click personalize or change resolution on the desktop, it gives an "interface not suported" error. Note that the "class not registered" error has only been happening since a couple of days.

    You could try system restore to a point before the problem started.

    If its a virus malwarebytes didnt pick it up and I dont see how it could be connected to uTorrent in another way. Why do you think it has something to do with uTorrent?

    Thanks for all the responses so far guys, even if it didnt help I still appreciate you guys taking the time to think about it, and I hope you can help me find a solution.

    Thanks in advance, QW
