    I am sure lots will find that useful - thanks .

    I don't use the linux based cd - I put apps. on my winpe3 boot media

    You don't have the actual installer do you?

    Have PM'ed you a different request if you would be so kind.

    the 5.2 installer and installed app workers fine. it is just the 5.1 and above boot disk creator that does not like to boot once created. just go to pw's site to get the installer.

    You will see what I am talking about from my latest pm.

    If the recent installers work fine for you - then it is a different issue you have.

    There is known bug where PW 5.2 and newer don't always report extended partitions correctly.

    Very hard to pin down why that is.

    Thanks alot, i used PW to resize E to take up the unallocated space, now my E drive is 208GB. and there was no lost of data at all, it was completly safe

    i got the same problem but also i can't extend any partition except ( C )
    i have shrieked the c partition but i can't but the unallocated space into any partition

    Use Partition Wizard to resize D to the left or create a new Logical partition in the space.
