    Keeping windows saved upon shutdown

Alright... I have been looking for a program that will keep my open windows saved when I logoff or shutdown the computer so that when I turn it back on or log back on the windows will reappear... I don't even know if that is possible there but if anyone has any ideas it'd be awesome

Hello Zer0plain, and welcome to Seven Forums.

It sounds like this may be what you are after. :)

Restore Previous Folder Windows at Logon

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Thx for the welcome Brink. Does this only work for folders or will it keep programs open also? I'm looking to keep my entire desktop open, folders, programs, etc.

It's been a while since I used it, but I believe it's only going to be for a folder. For what you want, it may be better to use sleep or hibernate mode instead. When you resume from sleep or hibernate, Windows will open back exactly to how it was before entering sleep or hibernate.

It wouldn't change if I have multiple monitors and desktops would it?
