Silly question - what version do I have?

For support on a piece of hardware I need to tell the manufacturer the W7 version and service pack I'm running. How do I find that information? Help oddly enough doesn't tell me.

Follow these steps to find out which version of Windows you have:
    1. In the Start menu, right-click on "Computer".
    2. Click Properties to open the System Properties window.

    Hi SkylineUK,

the easiest way is in System Info:

    Click Start
    Right Click Computer
    Click Properties.

The information you are looking for will be at the top of the window that appears.

Or look at COA on the side of the case.
