Hi iancorpe. Welcome.

Have you checked the boot order in your bios to ensure that the system HD is first (or second, if the cd/DVD drive is the first listed)?

If set first HD to boot, please post back a screenshot of your maximized full Disk Mgmt drive map with listings, using Snipping Tool in Start Menu.

Your CD/DVD shouldn't be first.
Put your drive with Windows installed as 1st priority

Best Regards,

Please post back the requested Disk Mgmt screenshot.

If you set the HD first to boot and remove DVD, what happens? Any error message?
