    Hi,

Thats a difficult question to answer, as it depends on what sort of errors you have. A clean install will most certainly fix your problem, and may be something worth considering if you are having alot of trouble:

    Clean Install Windows 7

    or even

Clean Install with a Upgrade Windows 7 Version

If you can give us more information about your errors, someone more knowlegable may be able to better judge whether an update will work for you.

    Regards,

I ran CleanMyPc and i got Com/Active X Entries (2062 problems found), File Extensions (10 problems found), Software settings (1 problem found). When i click fix error i get that the software is not working correctly and closes. Everything i try to install or open doesn't work.Should i upgrade to Ultimate or just restart with Home Premium??

Are you getting the errors after installing and running CleanMyPc or did you install CleanMyPC to try and fix the errors? If it was after installing CleanMYPC try using system restore to go back to a date before you installed it. What ever caused your problems, its unlikely that its because your running Home Premium versus Ultimate. If system restore isn't an option I'd backup your important data and do a clean install of Home Premium. Unless you have money to burn or you think your version of Home Premium isn't authentic, I don't see any real need to upgrade to Ultimate.

The use of CCleaner has been a safe alternative to some other paid clean up tools. Click download from Piriform or File Hippo.
