Today the EU pre-orders start !!!

I have Pre-ordered 3 Home Premium Licence from Amazon.co.uk, and there I'm very happe because they do not ask 49£ but only 44,9£ what is ok. (so for people living in non-english Land and do not have the possibility to got an english version, go to amazon.co.uk)

What I find bad is that in lands like germany I can not buy an english version, or in french, the pre-orders are only for nativ languages.

But now it is done for me, and I'm happy about it!!!!

Who of you as pre-ordered now Windows 7 ??

I am a little concerned too. I live in Australia where no pre-order is, or has been available so I ordered 2 copies on Amazon and they will be sent to a friend in the US who will then forward them to me. I am a little concerned that the Australian Language stting won't be available in this edition which would be a real bummer! It is not just the dictionary but also the date & page formats etc that are effected. Anyone know if this will be the case or not?

I ordered the PRO SKU, just to make sure i can do all the things i need to at work as well. I am pretty stoked - 90 quid is a good price, especially as we are getting the full version (all be it minus IE, but the is easy to fix)

Quick question tho: I didn't get the option to chose 32 or 64 bit - am i to assume both SKU's are on the one disk??

    Cheers!

    <H1>Dear Customer,

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Store.
Due to the eagerly anticipated Windows 7 pre-order offer we’re experiencing a higher level of demand on our website than usual. This means you can’t access the site right now and we’re sorry about that. We’ll be back up and running as soon as we can so please try again soon to get your hands on a copy of Windows 7!
We look forward to seeing you again.
    The Microsoft Store Team
