Windows 7 on OLD computers

    I was always thinking of getting Windows 7.As it can run on old computers can it run also on mine ???

    Processor : AMD Sempron +2800 1.6GHz
    RAM : 1022 mb Ram or 1GB
    Graphic Card : ATI Radeon 9250
    I'm currently running Windows XP.
    Well will Windows 7 run smoothly in my pc.Will i be able to use Adobe Premiere Pro CS3,Will i be able to play games???? Please answer me . :)

    Mhh... It'll run,but i doubt you'll be able to really play games... Upgrade your RAM and CPU... and possibly the video card. CS3,i doubt it. it needs a real good pc... Also,what's your graphic ram?

    Everything was ok only the Graphics Cards aren't good!They can't run Aero soo...
    Mmm but other computers with worse system specs than mine can run Win 7 without problem!!!
    And my video card memory is 128mb Ram...

    True, but the total Win7 experience will not be as good and you may experience slow-downs and hangs if the system isn't up to the minimum specs.

    I realize that this thread us old and almost dead, but I thought I'd mention that Goodwill is now selling Dell Optiplex GX280's with Windows 7 shoehorned onto them. My google search to figure port why is what brought me to this forum.
