it is always created installing windows. you really do not want to delete anything in it.

The short answer? Leave it alone, and rehide your hidden folders. By default you can't even see it unless you're showing them.

    The long answer:
ProgramData is used, as the name suggests, to store Program Data. Ie. Data that program's need to run. If you delete it then many programs will run badly/weirdly/not at all.

    Bottom line? LEAVE IT ALONE!

as far as i know ,when format is done,i had to see that bar with percentage going up that indicate that format is being processed no?that bar didn't appeared, but win 7 seems ok,so did the format had been done?
then when i opened programmed files i saw a folder Programme files (86),the system is 64 bit,so whats this?can i remove it,?i tried but no assess, can i remove it from safe mode or if i did ,its harm for my pc?

    Hello shankly769

Don't delete it leave it where it is.64bit systems have both a programs files and a program files (x86) folder.Program files for 64bit applications and program files (x86) for 32bit applications. Have a read of this -

Ok you lost me.Lets try and keep this simple

    1) Is the computer 64bit or 32bit.

    2) What version of windows did you install 64bit or 32bit.

    3) Did you do a clean install - Clean Install Windows 7

    3) What windows disk do you have.

    4) If the Pc is 64bit capable why not install that version anyway.
