Explorer Search Problem !!!

    Try to think what you did just before this happened. Windows usually doesn't react on its own.
    Two things to try if you haven't are SFC /scannow, the system file checker and Basic Trouble Shooting Tips.
    If that is no help look into Default File Associations.It would be tedious as you have to do each file type separately.

Explorer search problem

I try searching for a file which lives under My Documents. When I search from the root c: it's found without a problem. When I search from Documents or My documents (where it lives) it's not found. Any idea what the problem could be?
