Can you move item in your device manager up or down the list?

    Can you move item in your device manager up or down the list?


    I have 4 devices listed in my "sound, video and game controllers" tab and I would like to know if I can change the order they are listed in. Thank you

    They are listed in alphabetic order.
    You can try to extract drivers (inf files) and edit names inside them. And later reinstall them.

    But editing them, of course, will break drivers' signature, and you would have to go through the process of making unsigned drivers run on x64.
