fair enough. but if even microsoft only set aside enough licenses to last 16 hours, why on earth would they advertise the offer as lasting for a month? if i had waited just a few more hours, i would have been out of luck.
but no matter. the early bird catches the worm.
(but on the other hand, the early worm gets eaten by the bird...)
Maybe they were taken by surprise. It looks like they werent expecting such a high demand.
I'm just glad i didn't wait until lunchtime to place my order with Amazon.

Free delivery if you don't mind it taking 2 days longer than paid delivery.
Pretty silly that some places has so few copies at the pre order price.
Even Tesco was out of Premium earlier today.
If one was to snap up some extra copies, surely some money could be made re-selling them in a few months?
Not sure about that - they only go up a little initially - e.g. from 49.99 to 79.99 for premium.
Unless you keep them till it goes to full price.
Trouble with that is, It may not be too long before SP1 is released - leaving pre SP1 media unwanted.
Hardly seems worth the effort.
On the 1oth of August the professional version is due to go up by £100 though!?
I hadn't checked the dates for the price increases.
Are you planning to get some extra copies of Pro for 89.99 and see if you can shift them on ebay?
I assume that is why there is a limit as to how many you can order.
