    Thanks a million, guys!

I'm gonna use this new account for a few days, maybe even a week and see how it works. I will post back on details of deleting the older account, even though its probably fairly simple...you've come to know me

    thanks, again!!

If I do end up deleting the old one after I get all the files from it, it won't delete them from my new account as well would it? Same with programs?

No. You will have them copied to your new one and, hopefully to some backup device. Programs may need to be reinstalled.

    Hi again, guys...

So far, my new account is working perfect. I just wanted to know, whenever I select to delete the old account, it asks "If i want to delete the files, or save them" pretty much...I already transfered everything over to the new one. Would just deleting the account be ok now?

    Thanks

It should be fine to delete them, but I would save them for awhile at least to be sure the new account is still fine. Also make a back up your system while its working as you like.

    Update: old account successfully deleted.

Everything is stable on the new account.

I just wanted to say thanks again to those that helped, especially Britton and James.

I'll recommend these forums to anyone I know that needs help.
