Hi Folks, When I switch ON my computer, I give it ample time to fully load before doing anything. On my laptop, if I open FF13, home page iGoogle, I can type in the 'Search' box. On my Desktop pc, same settings, I have to click the 'Search' box before I can type text in it.

I always make shortcuts on my desktop for the parts of control panel i use the most. Since using windows 7, my shortcuts keep disappearing. one time they lasted a month so i thought i was in the clear. last time they lasted a week. Is it me? just wondering if im alone on this one.
