    Libraries folder on startup

    Hello:
I have lurked here for the last 6 months and now am running into the issue of the library window popping up on startup. I have searched and looked through the tutorials and I don't see this as an identified issue. Does anyone else have this happening to them? It is not a big deal, but it is annoying. Here is the specs:

Win7 7100, AMD 64 Kuma @ 3GHz, 4 gb ram, Gigabyte 780 series mb, built in graphics, 500gb hard drive.

Is there a fix for this?

I have seen this in XP where "my documents" pops up on startup. It was a virus in those cases. I wonder if you have a virus. I would do a thorough scan with a good virus scanner. You could use an on line one or something like Avast.

Hello Sabarrett, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You might also check your startup programs list locations to see if it is listed there, then disable or delete it to stop it from running at startup.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

    Windows 7 Home Premium

    Hi,

I too have this issue since recently upgrading form Vista home premium to 7 home premium. I'm no genius but I'm very familiar with microsoft PC's and have gone through all operating systems and build my own PC's although my current one is store bought. I'm familiar with "startup", "msconfig", "regedit" and "services".

I've gone through every suggestion I can find on the internet for this "problem"...more of an annoyance really, and nothing seems to work. As far as I can see it's nothing to do with the startup folder. My system specs are simliar to nate42nd's.

I feel your pain and I'll keep looking.
